On the morning of September 11, 2023, the VNU University of Law held a meeting with Mr. Pierre Du Ville - Chief Representative of the Wallonia-Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam. In addition, the University also welcomed the keynote speaker Professor. Pierre KLEIN (International Law Center - Faculty of Law - Free University of Brussels, Belgium.

Giving an opening remark, A.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Thi Que Anh - Rector of VNU-UL gave her sincere thanks to the Wallonia Brussels Delegation for accompanying the University in numerous activities. Regarding the legal talk "Multilateralism and the dynamism of international organizations: The perspective of an International Law expert", the Rector believed that the lecture would provide a comprehensive understanding of how international organizations operate within the framework of multilateralism, which is very important in the connected world where cooperation between countries is crucial to solving global challenges.

Representing the Wallonia-Bruxelles Delegation, Mr. Du Ville expressed his delight at visiting the VNU University of Law. He also expected that in the future, the two sides would engage in activities and initiatives that would make it easier for Vietnamese students to enroll in top-notch French courses.

Following the joint working session, the legal talk "Multilateralism and the Dynamism of International Organizations: The Perspective of an International Law expert" started with Prof. Pierre KLEIN's presentation. It was divided into 3 parts: Cooperation based on needs rather than theoretical or ideological concepts; Maintenance of international organizations; and The power of multilateralism.

 

 

 

After 3 working hours, the legal talk successfully gave participants new aspects of international organizations through the perspective of an experienced international law expert Prof. Pierre Klein.
